1 Acceptance of Terms

These Terms and Conditions govern your use of the TONTINE HUB platform, including all features, services, and content. By registering an account, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement.

2 Account Registration

To use TONTINE HUB, you must create an account by providing accurate and complete information including your full name, email address, and phone number. You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and OTP codes
• All activities that occur under your account
• Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized access
• Keeping your profile information accurate and up to date

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that provide false information or violate these terms.

3 Tontine Groups

TONTINE HUB provides tools to create and manage tontine savings groups. When creating or joining a tontine, you agree to:

• Abide by the specific rules set by the tontine group (contribution amounts, schedules, and distribution cycles)
• Make contributions on time as agreed within your group
• Respect the decisions of group administrators regarding membership and loan approvals
• Not create tontine groups for fraudulent, illegal, or deceptive purposes

TONTINE HUB acts as a management platform only. We do not hold, transfer, or guarantee any funds. All financial transactions are the responsibility of the tontine group members.

4 Contributions & Payments

Members must contribute their agreed amounts according to the tontine schedule. Late or missed contributions may result in:

• Penalties as determined by the tontine group rules
• Suspension from loan eligibility within the group
• Removal from the tontine group by the administrator

TONTINE HUB records and tracks contributions but does not process payments directly. Payment methods are agreed upon within each tontine group.

5 Loans

Members may request loans from their tontine pool subject to group approval. Loan terms including interest rates, repayment schedules, and maximum amounts are set by each tontine group. You agree to:

• Repay loans according to the agreed schedule
• Pay applicable interest as calculated by the platform based on group rules
• Accept that loan approval is at the discretion of the tontine administrator

TONTINE HUB is not a lender and does not guarantee loan approval or fund availability.

6 Subscription Plans

TONTINE HUB offers Free, Basic, Professional, and Enterprise subscription plans. By subscribing to a paid plan, you agree to:

• Pay the applicable subscription fee for your chosen billing period (monthly or yearly)
• Automatic renewal unless cancelled before the renewal date
• The features and limits described in your selected plan

Subscription fees are non-refundable except as described in our Refund Policy. We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice.

7 Referral Program

Users may participate in our referral program to earn commissions. By participating, you agree that:

• Commissions are earned only when referred users subscribe to a paid plan
• Referral codes must not be used in spam, misleading advertising, or fraudulent activities
• Commission rates and payout terms are set by TONTINE HUB and may change with notice
• We reserve the right to withhold commissions earned through fraudulent referrals

8 Prohibited Activities

You agree not to use TONTINE HUB to:

• Engage in money laundering, fraud, or any illegal financial activity
• Create fake accounts or impersonate other users
• Attempt to hack, reverse-engineer, or disrupt the platform
• Harass, threaten, or abuse other users
• Share false or misleading information within tontine groups
• Violate any applicable local, national, or international laws

Violation of these prohibitions may result in immediate account termination and legal action.

9 Limitation of Liability

TONTINE HUB provides the platform as-is without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for:

• Financial losses arising from tontine group activities or member defaults
• Disputes between tontine group members
• Service interruptions due to maintenance, technical issues, or force majeure
• Unauthorized access to your account due to your failure to secure your credentials

Our total liability to you shall not exceed the subscription fees paid in the 3 months preceding the claim.

10 Dispute Resolution

Any disputes between tontine group members should first be resolved within the group. If unresolved, you may contact our support team. Disputes regarding the platform itself shall be governed by the laws of Rwanda and resolved through good-faith negotiation before any legal proceedings.

11 Termination

You may delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or if required by law. Upon termination, your access to tontine groups and data will be removed subject to our data retention policy.

12 Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms and Conditions at any time. We will notify you of material changes via email or platform notification. Continued use of TONTINE HUB after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the new terms.
